Exercise 10.3 Preposition Prefixes

Look at the following Latin verbs. These are called compound verbs because they have a Latin root with a preposition attached to them. You already know the Latin roots and the prepositions separately. Now see if you can match each word with its correct translation.

sum = I am
dico = I say, I speak
voco = I call
venio = I come
facio = I make, I do
